Santana Chakma, Hon’ble Minister for Industries & Commerce, Tripura, on Monday inaugurated the Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet in Agartala.
Organised under the RAMP Scheme, the meet carries the theme “Connecting Markets, Creating Opportunities.” The event aims to strengthen Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by connecting local entrepreneurs with national and international buyers.
Speaking to the gathering, the Minister emphasized the role of these platforms for the business cultivation and betterment of the MSME sector. According to the minister, these platforms will enable the growth of industries based in the state as well as create more business opportunities.
Officials also announced that this meet will additionally contribute to the growth of industries by facilitating buyer-seller interactions and domestic products. The MSME sector participants welcomed this and are looking positively toward fresh business/trade and export opportunities.
“The Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet has indeed marked a major milestone in the journey towards an empowered MSME sector and a self-reliant, industrious, and vibrant Tripura.”
