Mizoram MSME Excellence Project, Aizawl, Mizoram: Hon’ble Chief Minister Lalduhoma inaugurated the Micro & Small Entrepreneurs Excellence Project and launched the Mizoram Entrepreneurs Development Forum at the I&PR Conference Hall. The event marked a major step toward strengthening MSMEs in the state.
The Confederation of Indian Industry – Centre for Excellence on Employment & Livelihood (CII CEL) organized the programme in partnership with the Government of Mizoram. Together, they aim to empower existing MSME owners. At the same time, they want to support new entrepreneurs who plan to expand their businesses.
Strong Push for MSME Growth | Mizoram MSME Excellence Project
During his address, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of small businesses. He said MSMEs create jobs and strengthen the local economy. Moreover, they promote innovation and self-reliance across communities.
The Excellence Project will provide structured training and mentoring. It will also improve market access for entrepreneurs. In addition, experts will guide business owners on finance, branding, and digital tools. As a result, enterprises can grow in a planned and sustainable manner.
Platform for Collaboration
The Mizoram Entrepreneurs Development Forum will provide a common platform for entrepreneurs and the government. Here, they can exchange ideas and discuss problems. Moreover, the forum will promote collaboration and networking among entrepreneurs.
The officials of CII CEL said that the project is in line with the national development of MSMEs. Therefore, the project links local businesses with the industry and government programs.
