The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Mizoram, Lalduhoma, received a commemorative book to mark **UNESCO World Art Day> 2025. The ceremony took place at his office in Aizawl.
As Chief Patron of the International Association of Art>, Mizoram Chapter, Lalduhoma actively promotes art and culture in the state. Therefore, the event reflected the government’s continued commitment to creative development.
Meanwhile, UNESCO Official Partner President Manaj Saha personally handed over the commemorative book. During the interaction, he emphasized the importance of artistic freedom and cultural exchange. In addition, he noted that art connects communities beyond borders.

Celebrating Creativity and Cultural Identity
World Art Day is marked every year on the 15th of April. On this day, artists worldwide focus on the creative aspects of their culture. At the same time, there is also dialogue through the arts and peace/harmony.
In the case of Mizoram, the festivities were aimed at promoting local tradition and modern forms of art. It must be understood that during the celebrations, it was the young and emerging talent that was featured.
